The Vulcania300 is the longest closed bike route in Austria - exactly 300 kilometers long and aside main roads. It goes through all 30 towns and villages of the "Steirisches Vulkanland". The "Steirisches Vulkanland", which - as the name suggests - is characterized by long-extinct volcanic cones, offers breathtaking views ranging from idyllic fields and sleepy villages to orchards, striking climbs and the famous Riegersburg Castle.
On the Vulcania300 you forget time - you merge with the landscape - there is only the meditative pedaling - and your own pulse that sets the pace.
The sporting challenge of the cycling tour and the joy of scenic diversity are not all that the Vulcania300 has to offer:
As a reward after the numerous short but crisp climbs await lookouts and countless opportunities to stop for a bite to eat, where the culinary delights of the "Styrian Tuscany" are not neglected.

Full Speed, sporty or cozy - you can drive the Vulcania300 in 3 variants: one day, two days or as three-day-tour. On the route there are six stamping stations, which motivate you on track and certify your performance.
Für eine Listung auf der offiziellen Finisherliste, musst du die Strecke in der vorgegebenen Zeit, in der von dir gewählten Variante,
absolvieren. Als Start zählt der Tag, an dem die Startkarte bei der Partnerunterkunft entgegengenommen wird.*
Bei der Rückkehr melde dich bei der Ausgangs-Unterkunft mit der vollständig gestempelten Karte zurück -
danach erhalten wir die Meldung, dass wir dich als offiziellen Finisher führen können!
*Ausnahme:
Gold-Fahrer können aufgrund der eventuellen frühen Startzeit
das Sackerl schon am Vortag bei einem unserer Partner abholen!
